Editorial portraits are my way of conveying a poignant artistic message through a photograph. Unlike beauty portraits, editorial portraits are designed to make the viewer think when they see the image. "Why is the subject looking at me like that, why is he or she so sad or angry, what's the story behind this image?" Portraits of this nature have been around as long as people have been making art to imitate life, and the editorial portrait still stands as one of the most unique and telling portraits there is.
